Grill your hamburger yourself – Recipe 4 (Chili & cheese)

Ingredients (For 04 burgers):

  • Ground Beef: 1 pound
  • Monterey Jack Cheese: 4 slices
  • Black Pepper (ground): 1/8 teaspoon
  • Medium hot chili (ground): 1 teaspoon
  • Green Chile Peppers (chopped & drained): 1 can
  • Salt: ½ teaspoon
  • Garlic (crushed & finely minced): 1 clove
  • Multi Grained / Egg Bun: 04 Nos.
  • Butter: 01 Tablespoon
  • Sliced Tomato: 01 No.
  • Sliced Onion: 01 No.
  • Lettuce / Cabbage leaves: 4 Nos.


Directions:

  1. Preheat Grill for high heat.
  2. Mix the ground beef, ground chili, black pepper, salt and garlic in a large bowl (preferably with hands) to prepare a smooth mixture and form 04 Nos. Patties.
  3. Lightly oil the grill grate.
  4. Grill the patties until well done, or around 5 minutes per side.
  5. Put the frying pan on medium heat and lightly toast the buns with butter.
  6. Prepare each burger by putting 01 patty, 01 slice of cheese, 02 slices of tomato & onion each, 01 lettuce / cabbage leaf and green chili peppers.

Serve this spicy and cheesy burger hot with ketchup and choice of sauce.
