Grill your hamburger yourself – Recipe 1

Preperation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients (For 04 burgers):

  • Ground Beef: 1 pound
  • Beaten Egg: ½
  • Dry Bread Crumbs: ½ Cup
  • Milk Powder / Eaporated Milk: 1 Tablespoon
  • Sauce of your choice: 1 Tablespoon
  • Cayenne Pepper: 1/8 Teaspoon
  • Minced Garlic: 1 Clove
  • Multi Grained Bun: 04 Nos.
  • Butter: 01 Tablespoon
  • Grated Cheese: as per taste
  • Sliced Tomato: 01 No.
  • Cabbage or Lettuce Leaves: 04 Nos.


Directions:

  1. Preheat Grill for high heat.
  2. Mix the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, milk powder, sauce, cayenne pepper and garlic in a large bowl (preferably with hands) to prepare a smooth mixture and form 04 Nos. Patties.
  3. Lightly oil the grill grate.
  4. Grill the patties until well done, or around 5 minutes per side.
  5. Put the frying pan on medium heat and lightly toast the buns with butter.
  6. Prepare each burger by putting 01 patty, 01 Cabbage or lettuce leaf, 02 slices of tomato and grated cheese as per taste.
  7. A juicy hamburger is ready. Serve hot with ketchup and choice of sauce.

You can vary the toppings and spices as per your taste and replace the multigrained buns with egg or normal buns. You can also vary the amount of bread crumbs in patty while preparing, just make sure that the patty is not too mushy and holds while formed.
