Wendy’s is an international fast food chain restaurant started by Dave Thomas on November 15, 1969, in Columbus, Ohio, US. With approx. 6650 locations, Wendy’s is the third largest chain of fast food restaurants in the world today, after McDonald’s and Burger King.
The menu consists primairly of Hamburgers (with its signature square fresh ground beef patties), Chicken sandwiches, French fries, Beverages and Frosty. The Hamburgers are served in dfferent varieties, a “junior” 50.4 gm patty and a “Single” 113.4 gm patty sold in single, double and triple sizes. In addition, there are hamburgers with bacon and cheese namely Bacon Deluxe, Baconator Single and Double and Cheeseburger Deluxe and Jr.
Wendy’s was the first fast food chain to introduce salad bar way back in 1979., which is thriving with its tempting spicy chicken salads today. The trademark Frosty is the combination of frozen dairy desserts and shakes.
In 2007, Wendy’s introduced its breakfast menu which today features various Breakfast sandwiches served on biscuits, Frescuit and Kaiser rolls, Breakfast burritos and side orders of hash browns, muffins and cinnamon sticks. Wendy’s also offers an attractive range of meals for kids.
