Whataburger, established by Harmon Dobson in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 8, 1950, is a fast food restaurant chain specializing in Hamburgers. It has nearly 700 locations in the US (Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and Georgia.) Whataburger is known for its distinctive A-framed, orange and white striped roofed buildings.
The signature item on the menu is aptly called Whataburger with various versions available, namely Whataburger Jr., Whataburger Double or Triple Meat, Whataburger with cheese and bacon etc. Other items on menu include the Justaburger, whataburger jr. with only mustard, pickle & onions, the Whatacatch fish sandwich, the Whata Chick’n chicken sandwich and taquitos along with sides, drinks, salads & desserts plus a special range for kids’ meals. Whataburger also serves breakfast from 11:00 pm through 11:00 am each day, the menu including special breakfast sandwiches in addition to the regular items.
