Burger king Menu..

The first menu of the “Insta burger king” comprised of Hamburgers, French Fries, Soft drinks, Milkshakes & Desserts. In 1957 was introduced the Whopper, a quarter pound hamburger, which has since become the signature product of the Burger King, so much so that the new style kiosk restaurants were named “Whopper Bars”.

Burger King launched a new line of specialty sandwiches including chicken and fish offerings in 1979 under the innovative supervision of Donald Smith. This was in attempts to target a specific demographic, i.e., adults 18-34, members of which would want to spend more on a higher quality product. In 1983, Burger King entered in the breakfast product line almost identical to McDonald’s initially, but remodeled to “Am Express” product line by 1985 with added attractions like French Toast sticks and mini-muffins.

To satiate local tastes, Burger King has introduced many variations in the products over years, e.g. adding Teriyaki, Beetroot and Fried Eggs to the Whopper, beer in Germany, Italy & Spain, and Halal or Kosher products in the Middle East and Israel. Whopper and Sandwiches with mushrooms and Swiss cheese have been rotated in and out of menu.

In 1993, Burger King attempted to introduce a line of value meals in form a multi-tiered value menu. The 1998 version of value menu featured Whopper Jr., Five-piece chicken tenders,a bacon cheeseburger, medium sized French fries, medium soft drink, medium onion rings, and small shake. In 2002 and 2006, BK revamped its value menu, adding and removing several different products such as chili and its Rodeo Cheeseburger.
