ButterBurgers at Culver’s…

Culver’s is a privately owned and operated fast food restaurant chain spread primarily in the Midwestern United States. It started in 1984 when George Culver purchased the A & W international on Philips Boulevard, Sauk City, Wisconsin, renovated it and reopened it as the first Culver’s Frozen Custard and ButterBurgers. The restaurant struggled until the second year to break even but since then it has grown to over 400 restaurants situated in Tenessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Texas and North Dakota.

In 2000, Culver’s opened it’s a first Soup-Sandwich-Salad restaurant by the name of Blue Spoon Café in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin deriving its name from the colour of spoons used at its fast food restaurants, followed by a second store in Middleton. The company is planning to open new restaurants in Idaho, Arkansas and North & South Carolina next.

The Culver’s menu features its trademark ButterBurgers ( fresh, never frozen, Midwest raised beef seared on a grill and served on a lightly buttered, toasted bun)  and frozen custard aided with pork, fish, fried chicken, salad and specialty sundaes along with its own brand of root beer. The menu is divided in seven separate categories: Sandwiches, Sides, Drinks, Kids’ meals, Dinners, Salads & Desserts.

The ButterBurger is also now available in five varieties…So, Go check it out…
