A team of scientists have successfully developed Red Tilapia Burgers with a high nutritional values and higher protein content. Professor José Igor Hleap and the student Luisa Fernanda Ossa from National University of Colombia (UNC) are teamed up for this research work aimed to, contribute to the development of the fisheries sector.

In a different way to promote the products, a burger franchisee in Brisbane, which is located in the neighborhood of a homeless shelter is sending out around 20000 pens that look like syringes filled in with blood to appeal to the drug users. As the campaign is considered as the one without any thought of moral and community responsibilty and police is also looking into the matter. It is claimed that the idea behind the campaign was to promote “taste addiction”, to attract people towards food.
