Lick’s homeburgers – Great food, served fast..

Lick’s Homeburgers & Ice Cream, a privately owned canadian restaurant chain, was founded in 1980 by Denise Meehan. The first store was opened on Qeen Street East in Toronto, second at 2383 Kingstone Rd in Scarborough. The chain has grown to 30 locations by now.

The signature Homeburger is a huge patty made with quality pasteurised ground beef grilled over charcoal on a toasted bun and a special sauce called Guk. The burger menu also features Nature Burger, vegetarian or vegan, Gobbler with lean ground turkey, Chick’n Lick’n with BBQ chicken Breast, Back Bacon on a Bun with choice of toppings from Cheddar/Monterey blend, Swiss Cheese, Tzatziki with Feta Cheese, Grilled Pineapple and Extra Meat Chilli. There are also Kids’ Homeburger and spicy chilli hot dogs on the serve.

For the calorie conscious eaters, Lick’s offers weightless platters where burgers and sandwiches are served with fresh fruit, California salad and cottage cheese. You can also opt for fresh salads including California/Caesar, Grilled Chicken Caesar, Greek Salad, Tropical Delight which offers fresh fruits & greens with whipped cream and Fresh Fruit Yogurt Crunch with granola.

And to make  it more delightful, get Waffles with Butter & syrup and Fresh fruit, Golden Fries with gravy or side of GUK, Onion Rings, Poutine, Taters n Cream (Fries, Cheddar, Sour Cream, Bacon bits & chives), Coney fries with Beef Chilli, Coney Melt and Nature Coney & Nature Melt for vegetarians.
