People of MONTGOMERY, Alabama is feeling happier now a days, as two of the Montegomery restaurants have been selected as five finalists in state wide Burger contest. Hamburger King and Stockyard Grill are the two burger joints who gave Montegomery the pride. It is the burgerjoint competition by Alabama Cattlemaen’s Association through an online contest via Facebook, and we have covered the news about the same in our previous post. The contest is titled as “Alabama’s Best Burger”. Let’s see who will be the winner of the competition. By the way, the other three restaurants selected by voters were Callaghan’s Irish Pub in Mobile; Rattlesnake Saloon in Tuscumbia; and Tuscaloosa’s Mugshots. And now we are waiting for the “Champion” to be declared by the judges.

Five Guys Burger & Fries is expanding its reach and Orange county is seeing the new openings. Right now there are seven Burger Joints by Five Guys Burger & Fries are running in the Orange county. Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Laguna Niguel, Newport Beach and Tustin, these five locations amongst them are owned by Monument Restaurant Group and two are owned Phil Ratner – Franchisee situated at Orange and Fullerton. It is worth to note that Monument Restaurant Group owns right to open around 140 location in California (and total 250). According to the officials of the company, they will be opening a few more locations soon.
