b.good, a Boston based BurgerJoints chain is focusing more on nutrition. Beef, turkey and veggie burgers, hand-cut fries, salads and fruit shakes are on the menu and all items are good at nutritional values. The co-owners of the Fast food chain and the common interest for both is not only to provide a quality fastfood, but also to make it enrich with the nutritional values and hence the result turns in to the healthy diet! We really appreciate the efforts which is making the fastfood lovers healthier.
A new Burger Joint named Burger Lounge opened at 1459 Ottawa Street in Windsor this week. It is a joint venture by Joe Fallea of Il Gabbiano and Gus Bressan of the former Tony Macaroni’s. Again, what makes us taking note of them is the words by Joe Fallea “We’re bringing a healthier choice to the burger restaurant experience”. Of course, we heard these words with each new opening right? But, well, if they will be followed, nothing greater than that. They were interested in a special type of buns, which his baker said not possible to make. Hence, they produced their own bun that is as soft as a regular Hamburger Bun with 100% (almost) whole wheat (no preservatives). The only drawback is without preservatives it cannot last more than one day, but that doesn’t seem a matter for the owner, as it is the quality they want to provide the customers. So we think that, it is definitely a good alternative to try everyday fresh, stuff. And, those who actually visit and experience the place can tell us better. As part of Tom & Eddie’s commitment to community, a nine day fundraiser for District 99 Education Foundation is arranged. It will take place from November 4, 2011 to November 12,2011 at 348 Yorktown Shopping Center (The Shops on Butterfield) in Lombard. The motto of the foundation is “… enhance education with enrichment”. We love to eat fast-food right?! And if it is associated with some good cause we love it even more right? We wish the mission a success, and look forward that the fund can be raised to a remarkable amount. Our best wishes and moral support is with them.
Umami Burger, is definitely one of the remarkable burger-joint chain and it is of course growing rapidly. It confirmed the plans to open the restaurant in Laguna Beach. They scheduled the opening early next year at Picayo space at 610 N. Coast Highway. It is the second opening at Orange county by them. One more is to be opening at downtown Anaheim. Hey reader, what you think about this new opening?! Definitely you are happy right? We too. We wish all those who are leaving in the neighborhood a very delicious experience.
