Tom Dentice and Ed Rensi are the names which are not as famous as the brand they were associated with. Tom (72) and Ed (67) are not only senior citizens but were also executives at McDonald’s, one of the most famous fast food chain. They have the experience of more than 65 years and were part of opening of 6000 McDonalds locations.
After doing the same kind of work Rensi found himself getting bored with the work he is doing and was thought to take the risk (along with Tom). They came together and with the idea to provide high quality food they started Tom & Eddie’s gourmet burger restaurant.They have started their own business around a couple of years ago. As it is gaining success based on the the different new ideas they have tried for the food products (Burgers especially), they have opened their 4th “Tom and Eddie’s Gourmet Burger Restaurant” in Chicago. The location of this new eatery is Vernon Hills Town Center, 1260 S. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago suburbs. They are really happy that this is their own and their efforts are for their own business in stead of having the same for others. They are definitely looking forward to have more locations in Naperville and the West loop in Chicago.
They pride themselves for the “lean and green burgers” they provide which contain three patties made of edamame, turkey and ahi tuna. They prefer a burger on the kids menu with a simple recipe, a cheeseburger topped with cheddar and ketchup. They also sever sweet potato fries, salad and soups as the side course in the menu. They are traditionalist you can say as they love providing French Fries. Let’s look forward to the outcome of the new venture and we definitely wish to share a real experience of the people who have actually visited the place.
