According to various source the McDonald’s fast food chain is launching a new premium burger exclusively in Israel as of now. On the other hand the chain is removing the product titled “McFalafel” from all of its restaurant. As per the statistical information, upto around 25% of Israel’s burger market is covered by Mozes, Agadir, Burgus and Black Bar ‘n’ Burger.
McDonalds seems arming itself to competing these brands with the motto of low price, low fat,high calories and tasty products. May be one of the reasons they thought to call back McFalafel is the price and taste issue. According to McDonalds, “McFalafel” was an experiment which didn’t succeed up to the expectations (They wanted to have a vegetarian dish along side the corn snacks).
