Darren Simpson is associated with KFC officially. The advertisement of KFC featuring him started hitting the screen and newspapers and tabloids have created various vibes around the world. Some gone over the top criticizing him for being sold-out and other have criticized his burgers. There are some celebrity chefs who came to defend him and his decision immediately though.
In a news, celebrity chef Darren Simpson who is labelled a “sell-out” and a “a laughing stock” by his peers for creating a burger range for KFC – the fastfood giant; hit back with his remarks.
Darren asked the critics to try his burgers before commenting on the same. It’s the first time an Australian celebrity chef has put their name to a food range with a major fast-food chain.
A KFC spokesman said nutritional values for the burgers had not been finalised but they had “less fat and kilojoules than a Whopper With Cheese”.
