Carl’s Jr – The BurgerJoints Chain About To Enter NewZealand | News

Carl’s Jr – the fourth largest burger chain in the world (according to various sources)- is heading a launch in Auckland New Zealand. It is official opening of Carl’s Jr.’s first Kiwi restaurant. It is known that All Black rugby legend Michael Jones has a 5% share in the New Zealand franchise.

High-profile celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton are the part of overseas advertising campaign by the company. FYI: The chain is targeting the large (man) burgers and not planning to have children burger or salads (at least as of now).

The first restaurant will be opened in Takanini and the second restaurant will open in Glen Innes in August; as the part of Carl’s Jr’s plan to open around 25 restaurants in New Zealand in next four years. The chain is operated by Forsgren NZ Limited, a family business owned by Carl’s Jr American operator Barry Forsgren.

BTW: Ian Letele, the Vice President of the company’s Asia-Pacific operations, will be talking the company’s business plans on Television (TV ONE) on Tuesday.
