In one of the interesting news regarding the Burger Joints, a Burger chain named “Krystal Co.” is looking to have a buyer. The company is no new in the business of course. According to the official statement “It was on October 24, 1932, when the nation’s first Krystal restaurant opened its doors on the corner of Seventh and Cherry Streets in downtown Chattanooga amid the harsh financial times of the Great Depression”; the company is 79 years old in the business and have seen some of the most depressing economy situations during its life and survived well through.
Krystal operates 364 company-owned and franchise restaurants in 11 states and has more than 7,000 employees. The CEO of the company have said that he is looking forward to have an attractive exit, especially for the shareholder and to allow the company to expand its stand. The company have reportedly around 420 stores in 2002 but since then some of them are closed. Let’s who comes out to take over the company and whethere it walks the path of progress or will have manage closing the stores one by one in the slow motion. We definitely wish to see it serving the burger lovers more and more.
