There is the Burger Eating Contest scheduled at Boardwalk Fresh Burgers Fries, 37660 W. 12 Mile, at Halsted (in Farmington Hills) from 1-5PM. The money raised from the event are intended to be used for Farmington Hills After School program and hence expects encourageous support from the locales. Also the mayor and other officials are taking part in the competition to make it a success.

Smashburger, a well known chain of BurgerJoints, opened a new restaurant at 2127 W. Memorial Road, Oklahoma City. It is intended to provide 100-percent, fresh, never frozen, certified Angus beef that is smashed on a 400 degree F flat grill to sear in the juicy flavor.

In an interesting news for the Burger lovers in the Keys (The Palm Beach) and Marina have announced that on 12th December 2011 Shula Burgers will open its first eatery there. The timings are expected to be: From 7:00AM to 10:00PM on weekdays and 7:00AM to 11:00PM on weekends. The following Burgers will be the part of the menu: The Don, Shula Burger and Wine country. Of course the custom creations will be there too.
