Burger Joints and Burgers In the News

According to the Scout Magazine, Chef Connor Butler is en route to return with new Max’s Burgers,at 521 West 8th (at Cambie across from Whole Foods). The scheduled date for the opening is 8th November 2011. The Burger Joint is spreaded in 1240 square feet and sitting for around 50 people is arranged. Along with Burgers Soda and shakes will also be there to delight the foodie customers.

Well, there is a proverb that “Hungry man cannot worship”. If you are hungry and looking to get a Hamburger, if someone comes to you and try to teach you some history lesson about the hamburgers, then you will definitely not like it. But, history is interesting of course. Some interesting stuff fascinates us rather than being statistical dump. For example, McDonald’s claim that they did serve billions of Burgers. As a matter of fact the first American Hamburger may have been cooked more than 120 years ago in Tulsa. The American Airlines on board magazine titled “American Way Magazine” has an article claiming that.

Wendy’s has been experimenting, tinkering and fidgeting with new burger ideas for the past two years – they called the secret mission “Project Gold Hamburgers.” And now it seems that, they have got what they was looking for!!! Extra thickness makes a juicier burger !!! So now, thicker burgers (extra large patties, extra cheese, even better quality bun…) will be shown at Wendy’s. Get, Set, Go!!!

In a good news related to the food loving people; Carnival Cruise Lines have announced that they will partner with Guy Fieri to bring his concept of roadside Burger Joint to life. As we know Guy Fieri is a popular Food Network host and author. Guy’s Burger Joint will feature variety of sauces along with Guy’s creations (of course). The cruisers will be provided the burgers as part of their cruise experience without any extra charge. The BurgerJoints will be located on the pool deck and the decoration will reflect the garage theme.
Here are the dates to look for the same:

  • Carnival Liberty (October 2011)
  • Carnival Breeze (June 2012)
  • Carnival Conquest (October 2012)
  • Carnival Glory (November 2012)
