Burger News for First week of January 2012

January 2012 came with some good news for the food lovers. Some good deals are yet coming and are interesting too.

Custom House Tavern’s burger is usually priced at $14 which is available for $5 this weekend according to various reports. Well, it is a good opportunity to eat a burger at more than 50% discount. It is definitely worth is because this one is named as one of the 25 best burgers in US by Food and Wine magazine!

Last week, Southern Burger Company opened a new eatery at Warehouse Row and is expected to opened from 11:30 AM to 01:30 PM.

A New BurgerJoint named Grass Fed Burger Bar will be opened at 605 Centre St., Jamaika. It is found that the owner of well known Ten Tables and it will be just 10 doors down from there.

Smashburger is opening a new eatery at Tennessee. This will be first opening of theirs in Tennessee. It is worth to note that Smashburger is spreading its wings now more confidently. It was named as Forbe’s most promising company. The location for this new restaurant is 451 N. Thompson Lane.

Burger 21, the famous Burgerjoints chain is to open an eatery at Lakeside Village, Lakeland.

Star wars, the famous movie seris will have a connection with Burgers! Quick – the French-Belgian fast food chain will introduce Phantom Meanace themed burgers! There will be Jedi burger, Dark burger and intimidating Dark Vador burger (named after Sith). So the Star Wars movie lovers , what you think about these Burgers!

BurgerJoints often performs social causes. Gourmet Burger kitchen announced the second round of fund raising to help capital child charity. From 26 January 2012 to 26 February 2012 Gourmet Burger Kitchen will be offering two burgers for GBP 10. 20p of the same will be given to the charity fund. It is worth to note that since 2009 Gourmet Burger Kitchen raised around 2,50,000 GBP for Capital child, which helps London’s disadvantaged youngsters. We appreciate the gesture!

McDonald’s celebrate “Big America” burgers in Japan since more than a couple of years now. It is back this year too. (Actually the concept began in 2010 with four American themed hamburgers). This year the Grand Candyon Burger (made with a quarter pound beef patty, cheddar, cheese, crispy onions, steak sauce and cooked egg with Bun of course; was the hit.
