Southside firefighters arranged Wednesday’s charity burger eat-off with braggadocio. Metro officer Bradley Brown ate a three-pound burger in 4 minutes, 40 seconds and then he ate the donuts they’d given to him. It would be interesting to note that B&D Burgers put up $1,000 to the charity of the winning team’s choice for the contest, held Wednesday afternoon in Forsyth Park’s bandshell, Savanah.
Flavor Battle is a nationwide DJ challenge of the top 24 DJs from across the U.S. Participants receiving the most votes will advance in the competition. Grand Victoria Casino/Elgin Community College Prime Burger Competition; is seeing Bernard LoMonaco made into finals since last couple of years. This year also he was the finalist, third time. The better news is he won the top prize this time!! We are happy for him to ultimately achieve it. The prize is a $2,000 scholarship and bragging rights.
