The economic conditions and the growing competition to woo the burger lovers with their quality product at affordable rate and still be in limelight by spending enough on advertisements; are showing effects on the sales of several noted burger-joint chains. For example the sale of Burger King (which is dethroned from the top position since very long now) and McDonald’s are seeing decrease and comparatively new players are growing bigger. According to various reports like this one McDonald’s have posted their lowest sales figures in last few years!
It seems consumers now want more choices and the new players are ready experiment and taking advantage of the situation; whether comparatively old and established players have taking precautions to keep their fame and specialty preserved before taking risks. It would be interesting to see the next moves of the market!
One of the main reasons for the popularity of Burgers is its versatility. If to put in simple word, just put anything you like, in between the Bun, and eat with anything suitable to your choice – your Burger is ready! And you can have it with any drink of your choice.
