It is believed that the price of Beef (and other meat) Burgers is at rise, especially in Europe. Food Standards Agency (FSA) – UK announced that the fast food agencies should implement the food processing efforts, which do not harm the health. Meat removal process (from animal bones) plays a crucial part for non-veg burgers (which are sold more than the veg burgers). Banning the process (or having an alternative process, and labeling the products explicitly – so the customer know that which process was used, and distinguish the product category also) will result into costly products, and the ultimate payer of the high price is the customer. A new eatery named Mercury Burger & Bar is heading to open on this Sunday (12 March 2012) in Detroit. It is interesting to note that their plan is to encash the party day (it is the annual St. Patrick’s day – a parade and races are arranged that day in Corktown – the location it is opening). There will be a limited menu available on the opening day. Burgers available at this new bistro are in range from $4-$8. Being foodie is a really good thing but sometimes you think that when talking about large, how large is sufficient. For example how many patties in a burger is sufficient (or can actually enjoyed, really). Forget about making world records and all, it is a very different arena.
